Meet The Team

Aung Aung: Thirst-Aid’s research and lab technician, spearheading the advancement of new CWF manufacturing techniques while insuring current production methods continue to produce top quality filters.

Ko Ko Aung: Part-time filter inspector, and general handy man.

Sandy: In charge of office affairs, inventory, and printing – and can be seen here filling in on a filter training course!  Due in large to her passion and devotion to the Monastery Program, Sandee has also recently introduced a new plan to provide intigrate Hygiene Education into everyday literature used by students in Monastic Schools.

Saw Yo Har: Surveys’ monasteries and orphanages and helps the Thirst-Angels in hygiene education trainings. Yo Har is also helping Zach to negotiate and understand the nuances of Yangon’s peri-urban living.

Toe Toe:  Went from stay-at-home mom to our Education Director. Both of her children now attend better schools and her daughter hopes to work for Thirst-Aid one day.
